Saturday 23rd May, 10.00am-1.00pm
Step into history with a guided walk from the magnificent Wentworth Woodhouse into the heart picturesque Wentworth Village.
This gentle and scenic walk leads you to not one, but two beautiful churches, each telling its own story – from the charm of the older parish church to the grandeur of its 18th-century counterpart. Along the way, soak in the character of the village and its rich heritage.
On arrival at the churches, enjoy a warm welcome with tea, coffee, and biscuits before splitting into smaller groups for an intimate guided tour of both churches. Discover fascinating stories, architecture, and hidden details that bring the past to life.
After the tour, reunite as a group and wander through the quaint Wentworth Village and back to Wentworth Woodhouse, where a picnic awaits. Choose from soft drinks, water, or even a glass of wine, as you unwind with friends – old and new.
