On Saturday 11th October 2025, the Marble Saloon at Wentworth Woodhouse will host the return of the Black Diamonds Ball – with a bold new twist.

This year’s Ball draws inspiration from the new House of Fun Season – a vibrant theme that’s turning Wentworth Woodhouse on its head with playful events, an interactive exhibition and circus themed acts across the House and Gardens. In the spirit of fun and a warm Wentworth welcome, the 2025 Black Diamonds Ball invites guests to enjoy a delicious dinner, daring performances, music and dance, world-class art and the chance to take part in a fundraising auction – all in support of the ongoing work of the Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust.

Founded by Dame Julie back in 2019, The Black Diamonds Ball will now be held in her honour. Dame Julie’s extraordinary vision was instrumental in transforming the future of Wentworth Woodhouse and this event will help continue the work she so passionately championed.

The evening begins at 6.30pm and continues until 1.00am. Tickets are available to book now via the Wentworth Woodhouse website here, with tables of ten available for purchase. Early booking is highly recommended to avoid disappointment.

If you’re unable to attend but would still like to support the event, donations (no matter how big or small) can be made directly via the Just Giving page here. Every contribution plays a part in continuing Dame Julie’s remarkable legacy.

We are also looking for auction prize donations to support fundraising on the night. If you or your business would like to contribute a prize, donations can be handed in at Front of House at Wentworth Woodhouse during opening hours (Tuesday to Sunday, 10.00am-5.00pm). To discuss a donation in advance or if you are unable to drop off at the House, please contact Sarah Mcleod on: sarah@wentworthwoodhouse.org.uk.

We’d love for you to join us at this year’s Black Diamonds Ball – inspired by a new era for Wentworth Woodhouse and the remarkable woman who helped make it all possible.
