This previously forgotten Grade II* listed glasshouse, formerly Lady Rockingham’s Tea Room, has recently undergone complete restoration and renovation and is now open as a new dining destination.
We can’t wait to welcome you to this beautiful space to enjoy a range of international small plates alongside delicious global teas. With views out over The Orchard to the The Ionic Temple and a menu focused on using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to create delicious flavours, it’s the perfect setting for lunch with family or friends!

Timings
- Light Breakfast (walk-ins only): 10.00-11.00am
- Brunch / Lunch Menu (pre-bookable and walk-ins where possible): 10.45am-3.00pm

- Confirmed bookings for The Camellia House include Gardens admission. Walk-ups will be accepted, where possible, but will require a Gardens admission ticket to be purchased at Front of House.
- We recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to your booking as there is a long walk from the Main Visitor Car Park to The Camellia House which is situated at the top end of the West Front Gardens.
- High chairs are available for young children upon request.
- Unfortunately, dogs aren’t permitted inside the Camellia House, however, assistance and support dogs are welcome.
- Please note, The Camellia House is a temperature controlled environment to ensure the safety of our historic camellias. Therefore, please bring an extra layer on colder days and wear appropriate footwear for the walk to The Camellia House.
Accessibility
- The Gardens and The Camellia House are both fully accessible to wheelchair users.
- A Changing Places toilet facility is available next to The Camellia House.
