Wentworth Woodhouse’s 25-year restoration has been dubbed ‘the most challenging restoration of a generation’. On this behind-the-scenes Guided Tour discover the craftsmanship and skill that has gone into creating, and now restoring and conserving, this special place. Join a member of the Wentworth Woodhouse Team as they take you to parts of the House currently undergoing work and share with you some of the conservation challenges ahead.

Accessibility
Due to the age and nature of the House, some areas on this tour are only accessible via stairs and there are some uneven surfaces.
A temporary lift (available until 31 December 2025) provides access to the first-floor State Rooms and exhibition space for visitors with mobility impairments. A staff member or volunteer will accompany visitors using the lift. For queries, contact info@wentworthwoodhouse.org.uk.
