Families and garden-lovers alike can enjoy a day in our Gardens and discover many hidden delights, from the sweeping views from the Ha-Ha and South Terrace to the wildflower meadow – so much awaits. The Forest of Bewilderment natural play area is a haven for little explorers and their families with plenty of natural play areas to enjoy, and well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome to join in the family fun.
Part of Heritage Open Days, England’s largest community led festival of history and culture, celebrating heritage, community and history. Stories are told, traditions explored, and histories brought to life. See hidden places and try out new experiences – all FREE.

Accessibility
- The Gardens here at Wentworth Woodhouse are fully accessible, as well as the ground floor of the House which includes the location of the Butler’s Pantry Café and Gift Shop.
- Well behaved dogs on leads are also welcome to join their human friends to explore the Gardens.
