Tuesday 9th July to Sunday 6th October, 10.00am-5.00pm
Wentworth Woodhouse’s connection to the coal industry spans more than 200 years. In our latest exhibition, explore the stories of those who worked underground on estate land, with objects and images loaned by members of the community.
Discover more about the relationship between the ‘Big House’ and the workers and the impact coal had on the surrounding landscape. This exhibition is co-produced by Wentworth Woodhouse’s research volunteers and made possible with support from the local community.
