Wednesday 17th September, 6.30pm-8.00pm
Join Eleanor Doughty as she shares her journey of discovering the Fitzwilliam family and Wentworth Woodhouse during the writing of her book, Heirs and Graces. From exploring the archive here at Wentworth Woodhouse, to private archives belonging to wider members of the Fitzwilliam family, Eleanor’s talk will include some of the archive images that she found – many of which have never been seen before, revealing different, personal, and, as yet, unexplored aspects of Fitzwilliam family life. She’ll also tell of her excursions tracking down cousins and friends of Peter and Obby Fitzwilliam.
Price: £15.00 (includes welcome drink of tea or coffee)
