Wednesday 5th November, 6.30pm-8.00pm
Dorian Proudfoot is an accredited conservation architect and Chief Executive of Donald Insall Associates. Donald Insall’s were the architects who worked on the transformation of The Camellia House at Wentworth Woodhouse which sat derelict for five decades and was listed on Historic England’s ‘Buildings at Risk’ register. As part of ongoing works to reimagine the wider Wentworth estate, they led a conservation project to restore and revitalise the Grade II*-listed Georgian building. The project has recently been recognised with a Europa Nostra Award – one of Europe’s most prestigious heritage awards. Join Dorian to hear more about the restoration and its process.
