Friday 6th September & Friday 4th October, 10.00am-12.00pm

Join British Nordic Walking instructor, Tracy Hall, who is kindly hosting a series of Nordic walking sessions in the Gardens here at Wentworth Woodhouse to contribute towards our Big House Heroes fundraising campaign.

Nordic Walking is a technique developed in Finland by cross-country skiers who took to the snowless slopes during summer, with only their poles. When used in the correct way, this technique transforms your walks into a full body exercise – the walking poles enable you to walk faster and further while toning your arms, shoulders, improving posture and strengthening back muscles.

In these two-hour sessions you will learn the basic elements of the 10-step Nordic walking technique that will set you up for your own Nordic walking adventures!

Price: £25.00 (includes Gardens admission)

Please ensure you are dressed for the weather and bring a drink with you. Poles are provided free of charge.
