Monday 28th April, 6.00-9.00pm

Join Joy Holmes for a fascinating exploration of the rich history of herbal medicine on the British Isles. Long before pharmaceuticals, herbalists played a vital role in treating the sick, easing pain, and supporting both birth and end-of-life care. Discover the plants that have been used for centuries to restore health and wellbeing, many of which still grow around us today.

Joy will also share her experience as a modern Medical Herbalist, offering insight into how herbal remedies are used today to support health and wellbeing. You’ll even have the chance to sample herbal teas and take home information to begin your own herbal journey – a unique opportunity to connect with traditions of the past and their place in the present.
