Catherine Bailey’s highly-acclaimed book Black Diamonds brought the plight of Wentworth Woodhouse and its incredible story to worldwide attention. The author has again put pen to paper and created the Black Diamonds Tour, a fascinating insight into the story which takes visitors through the twists and turns of the House’s history with one of our specially-trained guides.

The tour charts the rise and fall of Wentworth Woodhouse from the nineteenth century and includes behind the scenes access to areas not on the public visitor route. Find out about Wentworth Woodhouse’s links to the coal industry, uncover some family secrets and find out about why the House is the way it is today.

Please note, the Black Diamonds Guided Tour will be finishing in November 2024 so be sure to book onto a tour whilst you can!
