Billy the Bat was born at Wentworth Woodhouse and he’s swooping in to share his amazing adventures with you! Come and hang out with us to give Billy the Bat a big Wentworth welcome at his official book launch. Enjoy a page-flapping reading by author, Sue Wilkins, a brilliant bat talk by wildlife expert, Greg Slack, and sink your fangs into some bat inspired craft activities.

Suitable for budding batwatchers aged 3+.

Adult (17+): Free (House & Gardens General Admission can be purchased separately)
Child: Free

Additional Information

  • Please meet in the Pillared Hall at 1.50pm where a member of the Team will greet you and escort you to the Gardens
  • This is a free workshop. House & Gardens General Admission can be purchased separately if you would like to spend the day with us. Children under 17 go free!
  • In the event of inclement weather, the event will be relocated indoors
