The regeneration of the parts of Wentworth Woodhouse that have been neglected for decades is a key priority for the Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust. Alongside this, we are constantly looking at new ways to make what we have appeal to as wide a range of people as possible.
This film documents the community engagement activities that we undertook during the summer of 2021 to help us understand how we could structure a range of activities that would encourage a broad variety of communities and age groups to engage more fully with Wentworth Woodhouse.
Future videos in this series will look at Interpretation Planning for the Camellia House and some of the design work that has been done to secure the planning permissions and listed building consents that are required before any work on the physical structure of the building can begin.
