Tuesday 2nd December to Sunday 4th January

At Wentworth Woodhouse, Christmas is never the same story twice. Every year, a new tale, a new transformation, a new memory waiting to be made. This year, winter itself takes centre stage as The Snow Queen transforms Wentworth Woodhouse into a glittering world of frost and fairy tale wonder.

Visitors will follow Gerda’s journey to rescue her friend Kay, moving from enchanted gardens and princely chambers to darker robber’s dens and, finally, the icy palace of the Snow Queen herself.

The story will be told across 13 unique spaces in the House. Each with its own enchanting soundscape and immersive set design. You’ll see polar bears in the Pillared Hall, reindeer in the Marble Saloon and icy light projections will adorn a glittering throne in the State Dining Room.

With a unique surprise around every corner, there’ll be plenty to delight – whether you’re bringing the family or making the most of the festive season with friends.

A staff member or volunteer will accompany visitors using the lift.  For queries, contact info@wentworthwoodhouse.org.uk.
