Discover what life was like underground for coal miners who worked in the mines owned by the Fitzwilliam family by meeting a former collier. Have a go at charcoal drawings inspired by mining stories, make a ‘miner’s snap’ for lunch and find out about the courageous pit ponies.

Please note, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Activities are suitable for children aged 8+.
