A Tale as Old as Time

Throughout our A Tale as Old as Time event, there will be no access to the State Rooms and evening
Light Trail except for event ticket-holders (tickets are available to purchase on the door).

The Gardens, Butler’s Pantry Café and Gift Shop will remain open as usual
(Tuesday to Sunday, 10.00am-4.00pm) for other visitors.

Here at Wentworth Woodhouse, we are working hard to make our visitor experience accessible for all as we develop and regenerate the site.

After lots of festive indulgence on Christmas Day, enjoy a traditional Boxing Day walk around the Gardens here at Wentworth Woodhouse.

The perfect opportunity to pull on your hats and scarves and head outdoors with the whole family for some fresh winter air.

See what winter wildlife you can find around the Gardens before heading inside to the Butler’s Pantry Café!

For those of you wanting to add a little magic to your visit, why not book the A Tale as Old as Time experience throughout the State Rooms followed by a stroll in the Gardens.

The Gardens here at Wentworth Woodhouse are fully accessible, as well as the ground floor of the House which includes the location of the Butler’s Pantry Café and Gift Shop.

However, due to the age and nature of the House, there is no disabled access to the upper floors which includes the venue for A Tale as Old as Time.
