Date: 18th November 2021
Time: 19:00 - 20:30
Join dress historian Dr Serena Dyer, author of Material Lives: Women Makers and Consumer Culture in the 18th Century, for an evening exploring the fashionable dress of the eighteenth century. There will also be an opportunity to view recreations of eighteenth-century gowns, all meticulously hand stitched following period methods.
Doors open 7pm. The lecture will last approximately 60 minutes, with an opportunity to then view and handle some of Dr Dyer's makes.
