Wentworth Woodhouse is a unique event venue; set within 87 acres of gardens and parkland. Located in Rotherham, bordering Sheffield and Barnsley, this house and land offer a breath taking back drop for large scale external events, as well as stunning locations for private functions and corporate gatherings.

With its spectacular vistas on the East and West fronts of the house, Wentworth Woodhouse features a multitude of scenic outdoor spaces perfect for large scale or intimate events. All of our external areas have extensive open spaces perfect for temporary structures such as Teepees or marquees. Not forgetting our internal spaces which are some of the country’s most awe inspiring staterooms within one of the greatest stately homes ever built.

    The Thurnscoe Harmonic Male Voice Choir will once again be performing at Wentworth Woodhouse in the stunning setting of the Marble Saloon. They will entertain guests with a full repertoire of songs, ranging from pop musicals to classical choral and even a sprinkling of Elvis. There will be a bar to buy drinks on the night.

    Join us for a fascinating talk with Alexandra Sitwell as she takes you on a whistle stop tour of her family home and award-winning gardens – Renishaw Hall, Derbyshire. Through Renishaw’s 400 years of Sitwell occupancy, Alexandra will give a unique and amusing insight into the rich and diverse history of this most unusual house and its remarkable occupants, including literary trail blazers Edith, Osbert and Sacheverell Sitwell.
