Car parking and arrival
· Accessible parking is available at the front of the house, on the grass on the left hand side. It is clearly signposted
· Visitors with restricted mobility may be dropped off and collected from the main entrance
Main Entrance to house, Reception and Ticketing Area
· The main house entrance and ticket area is situated on the ground floor, which is accessed via four steps. The welcome/ticketing desk has a lowered section to make it more accessible
· There is an access ramp to the right of the main entrance. Visitors requiring the ramp should inform the Bookings Office on 01226 351161 ahead of their visit
· The first floor is currently accessed via two flights of stairs, if you have restricted mobility, please contact the Bookings Office for individual advice 01226 351161
The Garden
· Until the Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust opened the gardens to the public recently, they had existed as a private family garden, and as such have limited access
· Most areas are accessible with a wheelchair or electric scooter and whilst our paths are uneven and sometimes a little muddy, there is still plenty to enjoy.
· You will be taken to the accessible entrance by a member of our team, so please ensure you call ahead of your visit on 01226 351161 so we can help you plan your day
Catering
· Our tearoom is located on the ground floor of the house and is fully accessible
Shop
· Our indoor shop is located on the ground floor of the house, opposite the tearoom, and is fully accessible
