The Duke of Devonshire

Chatsworth House, Bakewell, Derbyshire.  The Duke is Chair of the Chatsworth House Trust which, for the past 10 years engaged in a complete refurbishment, repair, restoration and renewal of all services to Chatsworth House, the cost being in the area of £32 million. This programme will be completed at the end of 2017;  oversaw the complete re-building of Ascot Racecourse between 2005 and 2007. This was a £280 million project that was completed on time and on budget.
