Keith is an RIBA Accredited Specialist Conservation Architect with over 30 years’ experience in the complex area of the historic built environment. An experienced architect in the private, public and voluntary sectors he has also held posts of Building Conservation Officer for a National Park and a London Borough. In both these posts he was the Planning Authorities’ principal advisor on conservation, historic buildings, townscape and architectural matters, and ran grant and enhancement schemes. He then moved to English Heritage as Historic Buildings Architect prior to forming his own practice in 2000. For several years he led the RIBA Conservation Training Course. Appointments include Chair of the Yorkshire Branch of the IHBC, the Council of British Archaeology Casework Panel, the RC Diocese of Middlesbrough Historic Churches Committee and is a Trustee of Wentworth Woodhouse.
